Kaleb Fisher – Lead Teaching Pastor
Kaleb’s original position was serving at the church’s youth group ministry, Ignite. As his role at the church grew, Kaleb opted to retire from a promising young boxing career in order to purse ministry more intentionally.
Kaleb completed his work at the Spokane Ministry Institute in 2012, and served part-time first as the church’s Youth Pastor and then Young Adult’s Pastor. In September 2014, Kaleb moved to a full time position as an Associate Pastor, and currently serves as the Lead Teaching Pastor.
Kaleb is passionate about what the Lord is doing in our city, in the Garland District and in our church! He believes that the power of the Holy Spirit wants to tear down the strongholds in peoples lives all over this city and set them free in Jesus!
Jason Krauss – Administrative Pastor
Jason was part of the original “core team” that helped to start City Church. Jason started full time as the church’s Administrative Pastor in April 2011, while finishing his coursework at Spokane Ministry Institute. Prior to this, he worked as a RN here in Spokane for ten years; first as a cardiac care RN, and finishing as the Assistant Director of Clinical Research for a major cardiology group.
Jason and his wife, Andrea, share a common passion for finance, marriage, and homeless teen ministry.
John Leland – Elder / Men’s Pastor
John has called Kim his bride and Spokane his home since 2001. Packing up just after being married, the Leland’s headed west from the east coast to serve in ministry to the local church where John served as a youth pastor for three and a half years. His time serving the church as a professional minister bolstered his love for his wife and instilled in him a compassion for people and the world around him.
John attended Oklahoma Christian University where he earned a degree in business/pre-law. Presently, John works as a realtor serving the greater Spokane area.
What drives John, though, is his deep desire to impact the world around him and serve his global community. He is heavily involved in the work of International Assistance Program (IAP) where he currently serves as the Executive Director, and has been traveling to Africa and Central America since 2007, assisting with community development and sustainable business projects.
John serves on the church’s leadership team, and provides oversight to the church’s Men’s Ministry.
